We don't get snow very often, this far south and this close to the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico-- so when it does happen, even a light dusting is cause for great excitement (among natives of the region, at least)!
Late December 8th/early December 9th, snow fell here. After midnight, we bundled up and went out to see it snowing down, throw a few snowballs, and let the dogs out to see it. We went out again to see it in daylight, and I took far too many photos.

It was almost all gone by the end of the day. It's beautiful, but I think a little goes a long way. Maybe it's not such a bad thing, after all, that it doesn't snow a lot here...
