Back again with another 80 photos of the garden. (!!!)
These were taken yesterday, so they're a handful of days short of a full month from the last garden survey photos (posted yesterday, but taken in mid-April).
Was it worth the trouble of taking and posting all these photos? Has the garden really changed much in that nearly-a-month? Well, I processed these at lightning speed, without spending much time looking at them, but I did notice a few changes. New plants in flower, things creeping up half a foot in height, etc.
One thing I
always notice, when editing photos for these "surveys" is all the work that has yet to be done! That happen whenever I have a real live visitor in the garden, too-- or when we have a guest in the house. Suddenly all the eyesores that I've grown immune to start screaming and waving their hands in the air, and I'm left wondering how I've managed to ignore them for so long! Oh well, such is life! We do the best we can-- and try to remember that nothing's perfect.

So, it's May!
Spring came exceptionally early, this year, but it's been a pleasant one, and we've enjoyed a few periods of cooler weather even as recently as last week. Now the temperature and humidity are slowly climbing, and it's not quite
as nice to be outside-- coinciding perfectly with the sudden appearance of a multitude of new weeds choosing just this moment to pop up! Isn't that always how it goes? I could've pulled weeds more cheerfully in the coolness of early spring, but so many of them wait until it gets hot to rear their ugly heads. Better find a good audiobook or podcast to while away the hours I'm certain to spend kneeling and pulling weeds!
Here's the garden this month:
Whew!
That's enough survey posts for a while, I hope...
