We woke to a slightly foggy morning, today.
Not much, but enough to highlight every single spider web around.
(I think most-- if not all-- of these are orchard spiders.)
Looking up, the sky was nearly clear.
More and more trees, like the ash in front of the house, are losing this year's leaves.
A few sleepy bees were clinging to flowers, waiting for the sun to come and dry them for the day.
This is the same Confederate rose bloom I photographed yesterday. The color has darkened a lot since then.
A small system will work its way through today, leaving behind it much cooler air. Still no freezes in our immediate future, but we're expecting 40s tonight, with highs over the next few days staying in the 60s. That's more what we expect of November.
